Little Wild Eye

Black & White Stimulation Theory

A newborn’s vision is the least developed of all their senses at birth. The retina, the part of the eye that detects light and allows us to see colour, is not fully developed. This allows them to only see contrast between dark and light. If there is no contrast, all they will be seeing is a big blurry mess, and that isn’t good.

Your newborn’s brain needs stimulation from all their senses, without such input, the nerve endings in the brain will not develop the connections required. If you continually show your newborn highly contrasting imagery, their retina, optic nerve and essentially their brain grows rapidly. What’s not to like about more brain growth and faster visual development.

Your baby will naturally come across contrasting shapes and patterns, simply looking at mum or dad’s face will help with visual development. But why not impart something of beauty on them at such a critical age, why not and show them Natures Artistry

This is what we want to do, let your little one develop a ‘wild eye’.
